Review for Byron Central, Newcastle

Campus: Northumbria University, Newcastle
Residence Name: Unite Student Byron Central
Type of Room: Ensuite Room
Rent£110/week

About The Management

Byron was owned by Unite Students in 2021; earlier, it was operated by a different management team. I'd like to compliment Unite Student's administration for being well-organized and fast to reply to complaints and emails. It's a lot nicer than the service I experienced in my prior accommodation. 😂

About The Room

For £110 / week, I stayed in a classic en-suite room.

This pricing is actually on the high side in Newcastle because you can get cheaper and larger rooms merely because I believe the location is extremely near to the school and 5 minutes over the bridge to the school. This strategic location drives up the price, but I see no reason to call it unjust.

The room itself can see on the website here. It's the same as in the pictures; I can work out in the room and still have some space to move about after putting down my yoga mat. The wardrobe cabinet is also marginally acceptable, but if you don't have enough, Wilko sells an organised rack.

About Common Space

The accommodations in the United Kingdom like to have a common space where students could communicate with one another. Although I don't go there frequently because I don't pass by there every day, it's actually rather beneficial. The following are the facilities:

1. Quiet Study Room - If you don't want to stay in your room, you can study and focus on your task in a quiet study room.

2. Audio-visual room - On occasion, students host movie nights, and I attend to get free popcorn and refreshments.

3. Snooker and Interactive Space - My buddies and I frequently play snooker at night, and the speaker feature is simple to connect. It is also rather large.

4. Laundry room - Standardized and usable with the UK Circuit App.

Compared to the two hostels I've stayed in before

I rate Unite Student Byron Central 4 out of 5 stars.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

One fewer since the rent is regarded as excessive, yet I'm content.

After all, I'm staying with friends, so I'm content.

Simply be appreciative and content  <3
